CHICO, Oct. 13 – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) notified the Butte County Board of Supervisors Friday that they were included on a “death list” reportedly compiled by the women of the Manson Family.

The FBI in Sacramento said today that the list included more than 9,000 individuals and organizations and that the supervisors were on it.

Supervisor Bernard Richter of Chico, who first alerted the press of the notification, said this morning that the supervisors were taking no special precautions since nearly all the Manson Family members were in jail. He called the matter “ridiculous.”
