BEAUSOLEIL GRANTED SIX MONTH POSTPONEMENT
Dec. 4 – Bobby Beausoleil’s parole hearing, scheduled for next Tuesday, has been postponed.
Beausoleil was granted a postponement of his hearing for 6 months, according to the California Department of Corrections. He will be scheduled again for a hearing no later than June of next year.
Originally scheduled for February of this year, the hearing has been postponed twice before, due to an unresolved disciplinary action and a Board of Parole Hearing investigation into the matter.
Over the summer, the CDCR relocated Beausoleil, transferring him from Oregon State Penitentiary – where he had been incarcerated since May of 1994 – to the Deuel Vocational Institute, located in Tracey, California.
Beausoleil, 68, serving a life term for his role in the 1969 murder of musician Gary Hinman, has been denied parole 17 times, was given a 5 year denial at his last hearing, held in 2010.
UPDATE: Bobby Beausoleil has been transferred to the California Medical Facility in Vacaville. Thanks to Deb Silva for this information.
In this photo, he looks like Mick Belker from “Hill Street Blues”
He looks like he’s dying.
What was the reason? something is up. He looks like he has AIDS or his tweaking balls
I think this man is squirming, because he has to actually face a parole board this time around and he has to think of new & creative ways to tell the board how Gary was a drug burner and that he, himself was never had anything to do with Manson & Family. Disregard the fact that he has two children with two different Manson Family women…..It’s hard to feel sorry for this old man whenever he continues to lie out his ass about the crime he committed. He’ll never be free if he continues to do that. I don’t think he’s a danger to society, but they aren’t going to let him go, because he was part of the Manson Family, even though he wasn’t present with them on a lot of their travels.
I agree. He’s got little chance of getting out due to his association with Manson and his inability to be honest. I wish I knew what was going on though; What he did to get in trouble this time and why he’s in the medical unit.
Lee – well done, you just hit the nail on the head on all points. BB has been able to get away so far with phone hearings from Oregon – it’s possible he may come across as even more arrogant in person.
Ballarat babe – yeah, looks like we will have to wait some time to find out what the 115 violation was all about. He could be in the medical unit for psychiatric assessment for presentation to the parole board. Alternatively, he doesn’t look too good in the recent photo above and may be receiving . No matter what, Bobby must be sh**ting himself at having at some point to go back to a California prison.
Ultimately, BB knows he is coming out in one of two ways – a coffin or an urn.
I feel bad for Bobby, I really do, but then I read his parole hearing transcripts and I get pissed off again. He is so arrogant! He really thinks himself a celebrity. I think Bruce getting another reversal from the governor is pretty much the answer to everyone else that’s in prison. I don’t think they should even attempt to go before the board, because they aren’t ever going to get out. Also, as of lately, everyone has jumped on the “Gary was a drug dealer” bandwagon. Hey-even if the sheriff’s office found a scale in his house when they were processing the crime scene, what does that say? What if he used to deal? Maybe BB knew that Gary used to deal and made up this lie about that being the reason he murdered him. It doesn’t make sense. If Gary was killed, because of a drug burn, what the hell did he do with all that money? Where did the money go? That was a lot of money back then to just up & disappear. Also, the scale that they found at his house was negative for residue. What if he used to deal a small amount, but then stopped, whenever he got clean? In the end, it doesn’t matter why he was killed. The point is, a man ended up dead & in the ground. Do I think BB would be a danger to society? No, I do not, but he is staying in prison. They aren’t ever going to let any of these people out.

Well at least he won’t be able to pretend not to hear on the phone when he needs time to come up w/ more bullshit.
Grub and purveyor of child porn. He is where he should be and Release should be out of the question. Leave the narcissistic animal where it is.
Beausoleil is no threat to society, nor has he ever been a threat. Hinman was a part of the underbelly.
Did his parole hearing happen today (October 13).
Blaming the victim, Jack? What underbelly? Quit while you’re ahead with the victim blaming.
