Monday, February 16th, 1976
ALTOONA, Pa., Feb. 16 — Denny Bixler, vice president of an Altoona radio station, has been subpoenaed to appear at the trial of Sandra Good, who is charged with threatening the lives of government officials.
Bixler said he was ordered to bring with him the tapes of a conversation with Miss Good during a talk show on station WVAM last Sept. 19. She allegedly made some of the threats on the broadcast.
Miss Good is a follower of Charles Manson and a former roommate of Lynnette (Squeaky) Fromme, who was recently convicted of attempting to assassinate President Ford.
During the show, Bixler telephoned Miss Good and talked with her live on the air.
Bixler, a former four-term member of the Pennsylvania legislature, said he would comply with the subpoena to appear in Sacramento, Calif., on March 2.
