Two B&B Enterprises in County

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., Dec. 7 – There are two B&B Enterprises in San Luis Obispo County and one of them fixes cars. The other, according to parole board testimony, is a front for a pornographic magazine.
B&B Enterprises was named in Thursday’s Telegram-Tribune report on the parole hearing for Bobby Beausoleil, a one-time Charles Manson associate serving a murder sentence at the California Men’s Colony. Beausoleil was denied parole.
Beausoleil and his wife own Beausoleil Enterprises, which is the parent company of B&B Enterprises of Arroyo Grande, the parole board was told.
Beausoleil testified that the Arroyo Grande firm is his wife’s “own publishing company.”
Jeff Jonas, a deputy district attorney from Los Angeles County, testified that the Arroyo Grande firm is a front for a pornographic magazine.
George Bouse, who with his father Steve Brown runs B&B Enterprises Auto Repair in Atascadero, said Friday that his business has no connection to the Beausoleils or to any business run by the Beausoleils.
“We’re in the automotive repair business,” he said.
“The B&B Enterprises in Atascadero is owned by Steve Brown, has been here seven years, and has nothing to do with the business mentioned in that story. I just couldn’t believe the turnover of people who came in this morning and mentioned that story,” he said.
